INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS and PROJECTS DIVISION 
at the 
Union of Local Authorities in Israel (ULAI) 

The International Relations and Projects Division of ULAI started 50 years ago dealing primarily with youth exchanges.

Nowadays, the range of activities is based on multi levels areas like: 

·    providing services for enrichment of the knowledge in municipal management, economy, culture, tourism and environment.

·     implementing peace programs and initiatives

·     strenghtening the status in international municipal organizations   

·     integrating programs according to the new GLOCAL initiatives

Throughout the years we managed to coordinate about 400 twin cities worldwide, while organizing international conferences dealing with a wide range of themes and subjects.  

We have achieved the recognition and support of UCLG, EU, UN agencies and the World Bank in our position as the International Secretariat for International Forums dealing in Youth Exchange , Emergencies & Disasters , Coastal Cities, Tourism and Environment.
