4. REPORT - 6TH INTERNATIONAL IFDMYE CONFERENCE

John Hansen reported that 86 registrations were received for the conference, but he is afraid that not all will attend as the countries of Uganda, Nepal, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Ghana had troubles with receiving the necessary visas.

Peter informed about the hard work and time needed for the Odense organizing team to assist in the visa process. He recommends to advise visa applicants to forward their application at least 3 weeks in advance and to locate known organisations which are recognized by official authorities to make it easier.

Avi suggested that each organisation from a country that needs a visa should present a letter from an official authority that indicates that the organisation is relevant and active in the subject.
